Dark Matter ... or should we say "Karshati iti Krishna"
In the grand scheme of things, this (Dark Matter) is probably a very important discovery (Other than the fact that they found bacteria made of arsenic) in the recent past.
I was very keen to find out what it is and went and did some research on what our scientists had found.... It was amazing just reading about the theory, Here is the excerpt ...
According to scientists, our universe was filled with "void" which was proven by the fact that the transverse waves pass through it and the longitudinal don't ... Now the scientists have another interesting theory, the existance of "Dark matter", the matter that we cannot see and hence termed as dark matter. Now if we cannot see it, how do we detect it? Its simple, by the basic physics law of gravitation, we found that the universes were all bound together in an unbelievable manner and if we consider that it was void, they couldn't attract each other and it would all fall apart in the sense expand at a much faster rate. (Yes from the Big Bang theory)
The point is, we cannot determine the dynamics of the universe on a geometrical basis, unless it consists only matter that we can see, we had assumed in the past that the density of the universe as a constant, and when the universe expands then the volume expands so it should get less denser, in that way it should move away faster as the gravitation between them will reduce, having said to this, add the spin and the momentum, so when the calculations came out that way it was not true. In short the relationship between the mass density, spatial curvature and the future of the universe no longer holds.
What is causing this, It means there is more matter that we can see, and hence the term dark matter, Now if you think about the fact that why is it dark, its simple, because that matter absorbs every thing and doesn't let the light bounce off it.
After having this proof, the scientist made a program in the NASA computers to generate the model of the Universe, it took them a few days to generate the model on one of the Worlds fastest computer.
Here is what the picture looked like.
This was pretty close to the picture taken by the Hubble space telescope of the current state of the Universe. All light you see are galaxies much bigger than the "Milky Way".
Now knowing what is holding us together, let us try and understand this in much detail
Dark matter was postulated by Fritz Zwicky in 1934 to account for evidence of "missing mass" in the orbital velocities of galaxies in clusters. Subsequently, other observations have indicated the presence of dark matter in the universe; these observations include the rotational speeds of galaxies, gravitational lensing of background objects by galaxy clusters such as the Bullet Cluster, and the temperature distribution of hot gas in galaxies and clusters of galaxies, but it is only now, that we have significantly proven it.
Having said this, Let me take you a little bit away from the scientific field and get into the teachings of Vedas, and lets try to draw some similarities, now for the people who dont want to read through, now is the time to close the browser tab and get on with your work ....
In the puranas, it is said that in the beginning started, Lord Krishna or Believers of Bhagawati , the Para Brahma divided into 2 parts, Prakriti and Purush, both equal to each other and working with each other. Some believe it was Brahm (Bhagawati) and Maya ....
then in a story, it is said that the union, gave rise to the "Maha Virat", the Maha Virat is said to have 1/16 of the power of Brahm, not going in to detail, the Maha Virat is said to have the form of Lord Vishnu/Krishna (All the same), the Lord is considered to be asleep, and he breathes in and out, since he is said to be sleeping in some form of an ocean, from every one of his pores a new galaxies and universe emerge and when he breathes back in, the bubble go back into him, and this continues. Does it not sound like the big bang theory? It does ... Let me explain, the Big bang theory says that in the beginning some thing the universe was in a size of a human fist or smaller, then a bang happened and the matter started expanding, and at one point it will start contracting again .... and this cycle will continue. Now if you consider the inhaling and exhaling process, its that air rushes out wards and reduces in the density, and then it all comes back in.
In each of these universes, there are said to be Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva with three major gunas, and that all is manifested as a dream of the Maha Virat. (Read Shri Devi Bhagwat for more info in the story) ....
The above picture tries to capture the same idea which was conveyed, the bubbles seen in the picture are the different galaxies and universes coming out of the sleeping Maha Virat, Now all of this is bound by Krishna, How ? To answer this, let us see what the word Krishna means ... Krishna means ... "Karshati Iti Krishna" (Meaning: The one who attracts is Krishna)
So as you can see Krishna is nothing more than the pure energy, who has manifested into mass (Read the Grand Unified Theory post). Now it is very clear that the "Dark Matter" is indeed Krishna, (I know some people might find this bull sh*t, but no one tells them to have the same belief), the reason why Krishna, (when he came to earth, took a form with Dark Colored Skin),
So the Dark Matter theory coincides with the Krishna/Maha Virat/Maha Vishnu (All the same) and the creation, it is very impressive that our scientists are slowly getting close to the facts.
So in order to show the similarity, I decided to merge a few pictures and make it a wall paper, hope you guys like it

Having said this, I will blog next on the fact that this universe was created by mere dreaming of the Maha Virat and the movie "Inception" and their relation....
Now, I have to fly back to India ... and they have started paging for me ... so until then...

The way we describe dark matter is "that which we cannot see, but is all around us". Now that is the exact description of God himself.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
Yes, Exactly ...
ReplyDeleteI always believed in this. Krishna means dark and it Karshati too.
ReplyDeleteI was always thinking about this and 100% agree with this. All energy is Krishna- Spiritual and Material both that is why He is "Eata Dhyonini Bhuutani"- both sensient and insensient. Krishna purposely chose dark/blue color as it is highly energetic and absorbs all to show equanimity as well. If everyone realizes this fact, the world would be peaceful and just believe in ONE GOD, the Energy = KRISHNA provided the world should not err on the Krishna as they might regard Krishna as Hindu God. Yes, KRISHNA is attractive and that ATTRACTIVENESS has been there always everywhere. I wish everyone in the world read Bhagavad Gita regarding it as the knowledge of the Universes just not one. Jai Sree KRISHNA. JUst Think of HIM and you get belled and feel bliss!

I think if Krishna or Vishnu is Dark Matter then Shiva is Dark Energy one who repels and Brahma is the known and seen and felt matter
